On March 28, local time, in Tokyo, Japan, a basketball robot called CUE was rehearsing a shooting performance.
It was developed by Tokyo-based Toyota Engineering Associates, which also dresses the robot with its own sweatshirts and shorts.
The robot is attached to a small platform connected by cables so it cannot move around the court.
It is reported that the design of this robot is based on the Japanese cartoon character Sakuragi Hanamichi, the main character in the Japanese manga “Slam Dunk”.
