A 58-year-old Ukrainian man claims that he has a “remedy” to stimulate eyelash growth and intends to make money by selling food containing the mysterious substance. Valery Smagliy, a Kiev resident, said that women often ask him on the street for advice on how to make their eyelashes longer.

However, these 3 cm long eyelashes also caused Smagliy a lot of troubles, such as eyelid pain and poor vision. Before cutting his eyelashes short, the man went to the local Guinness Book of Records office for measurements. It is reported that the person with the longest eyelashes in the world lives in the United States, with eyelashes as long as 6.99 cm.
