Recently, a very special egg was discovered on the farm of Ms. Chen’s family in Zhao’an County, Zhangzhou. The special thing is that it is “extremely small” and is a mini eggs.
Ordinary local eggs generally weigh about 45 to 55 grams, but the super mini local eggs Ms. Chen discovered this time weigh only 4.0 grams. Ms. Chen used a ruler to measure the size of the mini egg: the “body length” was 1.9cm and the “waist” diameter was 1.8cm.
It is understood that the current Guinness World Record for the smallest egg is only 1.55 centimeters in height. It was discovered by Georgia, a 22-year-old woman from Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, in a chicken coop at home.
