It was reported on May 12 that a 15-meter-long mysterious sea creature appeared on the beach of Indonesia’s Silan Island on the 9th. Discoverer Asrul Tuanakota initially thought it was a boat entangled in weeds, but later discovered it was the remains of some kind of marine creature. The creature had been dead for at least 3 days and was beginning to decay.
After hearing the news, nearby residents went to the scene to watch and see this behemoth with their own eyes. Locals say it could be a giant squid or part of a whale. Locals have asked relevant authorities to come and clean up the remains.
