Israeli company Noveto Systems launched a new futuristic audio technology called “Sound Beam“. The company’s debut desktop device, SoundBeamer, can transmit sound directly to the listener’s brain without the need for headphones, and other people cannot hear the sound.

The device uses 3D sensing modules to detect and track the position of the listener’s ears, and then uses ultrasonic waves to send audio, creating sound pockets in the user’s ears.

The technology uses a large number of ultrasonic emitters that form sound beams, mounted in a two-dimensional grid on the device. It’s there wherever you go, and you don’t have to worry about changing positions, but when the user completely moves out of the path of the sound beam, you can’t hear it.
