Have you ever seen a cow as big as a dog? In Pungaanur, a small town in Andhra Pradesh, India, there is a kind of miniature cattle. The average height of an adult cow is only 70-90 centimeters.

Indian miniature cattle on the verge of extinction

Indian media stated that it is one of the smallest hump cow breeds in the world. In recent years, it has been on the verge of extinction due to the increase in foreign milk sources and neglect of protection, with only about 60 animals left. But it is an ancient milk variety cultivated by local residents. The fat content of milk is as high as 8%, which is more than twice that of ordinary milk.
